"Tsunami Comic Book of World Records" Project
 
The Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts is promoting "Tsunami Comic Book of World Records" project, a creation of the
biggest comic book in the world on September 16, 2005 from 13.00-15.00 at the Central World Offices.
Dr. Athit Ourairat, President of Rangsit University was the chairman of this event
 
 
 
 
 
Assistant Professor Pisprapai Sarasalin, Associate Dean of Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts of Rangsit University
and Associate Project Manager of "Tsunami Comic Book of World Records" announced that this project aimed at producing
the world biggest comic book called "Hope… After Tsunami". This masterpiece was created by students from the Faculty of Fine
and Applied Arts of Rangsit University. The size of this comic book is 5mx7m which can be considered as the biggest
comic book in the world and will be recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records. Dr. Arthit Ourairat, President of Rangsit
University was the chairman of this event on September 16, 2005 from 13.00-15.00 at the Central World Offices
 
 
 
 
 
"The objective of "Hope… After Tsunami" comic book is to build up hope and spirit among people affected by the tsunami, especially juveniles in Thailand and in neighboring countries. Aside from making the biggest comic book in the world, Rangsit University is also producing a normal size comic book version and will distribute them in the market. Revenues from sales will be given to children affected by the tsunami", stated Professor Pisprapai
